First...check your passport!

Please ensure your passport will be valid for at least six months beyond our wedding date-  it should expire after April 2027.

Can I bring children?

Although we love the children in our lives, these evening gatherings are for adults only. We hope you enjoy this special time with us.

Can I bring a guest?

While we wish we could celebrate with everyone, due to the intimate size of our wedding and the capacity limits of our location, we can only host the guests addressed on your invitation. 
We truly appreciate your understanding.

How should I pack?

In September, average highs in Lake Como are around 72 degrees during the day with lows in the 
upper 50s at night. 

Weather permitting, both our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors.  

We recommend packing a mid-season jacket, wrap or shawl, lightweight layers and comfortable shoes. 
Ladies, we recommend leaving the stilettos at home, and opt for kitten or block heels instead.
 A collapsible umbrella in case of an unexpected shower.

How should I get around?

Taxis and rideshares can be difficult to secure in Lake Como, often requiring up to 30 minutes from the time of request. Downloading a local taxi app such as InTaxi, and arranging transportation 
in advance is recommended.
If you plan to rent a car, please note there is self parking at the Hilton Lake Como. 
Como City Center is highly walkable, making it easy to reach restaurants and sightseeing spots on foot.

Will transportation be offered?

On September 6th, guests are asked to meet at Hilton Lake Como valet at 5:00 PM for our coach to the Cernobbio dock.

On September 7th, all recommended accommodations are within walking distance of Villa Carminati’s lakeside entrance.

If staying elsewhere, please allow extra travel time and arrange taxis in advance. Kindly note that Villa Carminati Resta has no designated parking.
